April House Project Notes Here is the house on the first day. The only thing done now is the skirting around the foundation has been removed. Construction Starts! Construction started 19 April 2000. First order of business was to dig out the old foundation and prepare it for the new foundation. To prevent any problems the foundation will be done in sections. The first section is the front and east side. Once the foundation was exposed for about half of the space forms were built for a concrete footing for the block wall. Here are the forms in place for the concrete. Concrete arrived and the forms were filled. Finally the finished footers in place. Go To Top
